Suddenlee came to OuterBox with a unique idea and needed a team that could develop something never before created. Outlining Web 2.0, JavaScript and other technologies, OuterBox had the task of creating an installable toolbar that worked in multiple browsers and would allow users to add items to the suddenlee.com shopping cart from outside websites. This service allows customers to add items from multiple retail website, checkout on one website (Suddenlee's) and have the product hand-delivered to their door. As their tag line stats, "Shopping Reinvented"!

The Suddenlee Toolbar

Creating a toolbar that would not required installation was the first challenge. Suddenlee wanted a user to be able to drag-and-drop the tool into their browser and then be able to shop 3rd party websites. The toolbar features an "Add to Suddenlee" button and exacts product information from the page the user is visiting. It then takes that information and adds it to the customers Suddenlee Shopping Cart. This tool required extensive development and testing across all platforms and browsers.
