Spaces, a student-housing property management company, partnered with us to develop the identity for a brand-new student-housing community in Tuscaloosa that was set to open in 2020. The community’s close proximity to Bryant-Denny Stadium, sorority row, and Tutwiler – the all-girls freshmen dorm – made it an easy choice to name the property The Walk.

The website design for The Walk mirrors the vibrant, modern identity we crafted for this Tuscaloosa student-housing community. Drawing inspiration from the property’s close proximity to Bryant-Denny Stadium, sorority row, and Tutwiler – the all-girls freshmen dorm – the site weaves in elements that resonate with its target audience. Radiating a bright, high-quality, posh ambiance, it captures the essence of a fashion-forward lifestyle, and navigating it feels like a virtual stroll through the stylish halls of The Walk itself. The design doesn’t just serve a marketing purpose; its influence extends into the property’s interior and exterior aesthetic.

The project was a success. The identity made a positive impact on students from a marketing standpoint, and several of the brand elements were carried throughout the interior and exterior design of the property itself.
The Walk achieved optimal leasing results in its first year and went on to win the Student Housing Business Innovator Award for Best New Development (under 400 beds).
