Overview

In the summer of 2020, CORSA reached out to OuterBox. In the first two years, OuterBox has helped to increase revenue by nearly 300%, with organic search revenue jumping 366%. Today, we continue that growth.

CORSA Performance uses advanced engineering technologies to create market-leading, cutting-edge products for the automotive enthusiast. They engineer, manufacture, and produce parts in Berea, Ohio. In the summer of 2020, based on strong recommendations from some of their B2B partners, they reached out to OuterBox to get a higher ROI from their digital marketing efforts.

Challenge

When we were referred to CORSA, its search engine presence lagged. It historically focused on paid social, email, and influencer marketing but needed SEO to attract new buyers. Most of their web traffic came from branded search terms. They were #1 for enthusiasts, but nowhere near #1 in the search landscape.

Solution

OuterBox focused on driving traffic by catering to search intent-based keywords with high conversion rates packaged in an integrated strategy that included SEO and paid media.

The Result

After just a few months, they saw double-digit revenue growth via organic search. Today, we continue to provide on-page optimizations and unique content that fuel SEO and paid media results. The company saw increased revenue, and that momentum continues today. Today, unbranded traffic is up 31%.

Competition in the automotive eCommerce space is crowded, making it tough to show up on top with options ranging from big automakers to Amazon. OuterBox narrowed the focus to the business offerings and what customers looking for specific products may use in search queries. The result? Today, more than 122 first-page rankings for terms that include make or model as modifiers to exhaust.

In a time of great market volatility, CORSA kicked off 2025 with an organic conversion rate increase of 83%, a 63% increase in organic purchases, and a 75% increase YoY in organic revenue.

CORSA Performance was only seeing success with advertising on social media, but the opportunity to impact visibility on Google was there. The paid media team created successful paid search campaigns that ran in conjunction with their SEO strategy, boosting search visibility and credibility in the automotive landscape.
