About The Project

The Problem

Blackburn's, one of the nation's largest OEM wheel and hubcap distributors, was struggling to gain new customers and exposure online. Although the end goal was to build a new website (recently launched Jan. 2014, developed by OuterBox), Blackburn's wanted to focus on gaining rankings and traffic to their current website. With hardly any first page rankings, the goal was to bring them to the first page and steadily climb towards to the top.

The Solution & Results

Within the first days of the campaign, it was apparent that Blackburn's had potential. Keyword research looked promising and the first page was there for the taking. Diving into the current website, analyzing site structure and developing a concrete strategy was the first step in the process. Onsite SEO followed with title creation, content development, internal cross linking and many other onsite improvements. Usability was also considered as we made tweaks and changes. Within 60 days of beginning, Blackburn's had already seen a 250% organic traffic increase, well into the thousands of visitors. As the campaign has continued, results continue to improve.
